Description

The room overlooks Cassaro or Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Palermo’s most ancient thoroughway. It’s about 2km long and it’s still the main city axis leading directly to the sea and connecting Palazzo Reale with Porta Felice.

Along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, you can find the main sights of Palermo such as the Cathedral, Palazzo dei Normanni, Porta Nuova, Piazza Pretoria and many other churches and ancient buildings of historical and cultural value.

At the crossing of the two ancient main roads, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda, you will arrive at Quattro Canti, a small square that divides the town into its quarters. The buildings at the 4 corners have diagonal baroque façades so the square has an almost octagonal form.

A modern design room with typical sicilian details.
